FAQ

Q: Where does my money go from dues?
A: AGD is a non-profit organization. Your dues go toward recruitment events, scholarships, sisterhood retreat, socials, and other events AGD hosts.

Q: What kind of commitment is this if I join?
A: AGD does require some of your time, but no more than a few hours a week.  We have had sisters on the honor society, sports teams, other extracurricular activities, and not to mention, part-time jobs as well. In the end, it all comes down to time management.

Q: Do you haze?
A: No!  We do not haze and it is a shame that other Greek organizations have to do such things to create strong bonds with their new initiates.

Q: How do I join?
A: Come join us for our recruitment events at the beginning of the Fall and Spring semesters.  You can find out the times and locations via the Calendar page or visit our table at Campus Center during the first couple weeks of Fall and Spring semesters.  At our events you can get to know our sisters while letting us get to know you!  Our standards are neither too high or too low, but we are an organization that is looking for women who are willing to be team members. Most importantly, we want our members to take in as much as they can during the time shared while also not afraid to give back.
